Chattahoochee Valley Libraries present Knowledge is Power

Press Release

COLUMBUS, GA- Columbus Regional Healthcare System and the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries have joined together again to present a collaborative health information series, "Knowledge is Power."  Designed especially for the general public, the series will present local and regional experts discussing a diverse range of health issues.

The first of three programs, "What Women Want to Know," will take place on Friday, January 8, 2010, at 6:00 p.m., at the Columbus Public Library.  Join us for hors d' oeuvres and honest talk as Dr. Serena Tidwell, local obstetrician and gynecologist, provides an overview of health topics that affect women of all ages. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions about specific health concerns.

In addition to Dr. Tidwell's presentation, Stacy Varner, executive chef and director of Nutrition Services at Doctors Hospital will share fun, healthy recipes that can be used for various social events throughout the year.

All programs are free and open to the public and will be held at the Columbus Public Library located at 3000 Macon Road.
