Three men hold a family at gunpoint during home invasion

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus Police are investigating a home invasion involving three suspects and two victims. One of the victims, Kevin Sanders, 29, was struck and kicked when three men entered the Booker T. Washington Apartment armed with a gun, according to police.

Sanders was also arrested for possession of marijuana after police found an undermined amount of contraband inside the home while searching for clues to the home invasion.

Ashley Porter, 29, lives in the apartment and was home at the time of the forced entry.

It happened just before 8 o'clock Tuesday night in apartment 500F, says Police. The suspects got away with an unknown amount of cash.

They're described as black males in their 20s, their heights range from 5'8" to 6'3" feet tall weighing between 145 lbs to 180lbs and two of the men with dreads.
