Duo arrested for allegedly manufacturing meth

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) – The Lee County Sheriff's Office tells News Leader 9 two people have been arrested for various drug charges associated with meth.

Eighteen-year-old Jessica Brooke Flournoy and 20-year-old Kenneth Wayne Elliot Jr. were arrested for trafficking and manufacturing meth, and child endangerment.

They are being held in the Lee County Detention facility at $65,000 and $60,000 bond respectively.

We're told authorities received a tip from the public about people possiblly manufacturing meth at a home on US Highway 29 North in the Beulah community.

The Department of Human Resources are trying to find a home for the two children involved.

This case is still under investigation.
