COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Five west Georgia homes have been nominated for potential renovation on ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition". One home will be selected and featured on the upcoming season of the hit show.

In a News Leader 9 exclusive, Senior Producer, Milan Vasic explained the scouting process and how local community members may be able to contribute:

"They say it takes a village to raise a child, well it takes an entire community, sometimes several counties in a state to make an Extreme Makeover house. So we need volunteers, subs and trades, we need supplies, materials, food -- all those things."
