PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) -  Phenix City Police say two men were killed Tuesday afternoon at the Rad Kutz Barber Shop located in the 100th block of Seale Road.

The victims have been identified as 34-year-old Shedrick Dixon and 37-year-old Keith Weeks.

Police say both men had known each other for a long time and officials do not believe this was a random shooting. Witnesses told investigators there was a verbal altercation then at least 10 shots were fired.

"Upon arrival at the scene we found two people. One was pronounced dead at the scene and one was transported to the medical center.  He was pronounced dead at the medical center," said Robert L. Casteel, Phenix City assistant police chief.

Investigators believe there were two shooters involved and but they do not have any suspects at this time.

When we last spoke to police, they were still talking to witnesses.  "There was at least five more. We got them upstairs questioning but their probably more than that. We are trying to find out who all was in the barber shop," said Casteel.
