Homeless man arrested in Columbus stabbing

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  A homeless man is behind bars after Columbus Police say he attacked several of his family members with a knife.

Forty-five-year-old Dexter Thomas faces aggravated assault charges.

According to police reports, Thomas attacked four of his relatives late Tuesday night at a home on Gleneden Drive.

Each of the victims received multiple cuts and puncture wounds on their arms and hands and were treated by medics at the scene.

Officers were originally called to the home for a domestic disturbance.
