Toddlers killed in single-car crash in Bullock Co., AL

BULLOCK COUNTY, AL A single-vehicle crash Friday morning in Bullock County claimed the lives of two Montgomery toddlers, brothers Jacoby Amir Bell, 4, and Antonio Jamal Williams, 2.

The initial investigation indicates that a Chevrolet Suburban driven by the boys' mother, Andrea Bell, 26, of Montgomery, was traveling on Alabama 110 when it ran off the roadway and into a pond while attempting to pass another vehicle. The crash occurred at 11:49 a.m. about four miles east of the Bullock-Montgomery County line.

Ms. Bell and Antonio were transported to Baptist East Hospital in Montgomery, where Antonio was pronounced dead. Ms. Bell was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. J

acoby was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by Bullock County Coroner Sidney Jernigan. Troopers continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
