Columbus grocery store robbed of cigarettes and beer

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Columbus Police are investigating a burglary at a grocery store on the city's south side and whoever committed the crime wasn't interested in money.

The owner of the Pyramid Food Mart opened his business on Saturday morning and discovered that someone had broken in.

The burglar or burglars caused $2000 worth of damage to the store and got away with $2500 worth of cigarettes and assorted packs of bottled beer.
