Columbus man allegedly stabs family member

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus man is behind bars after police say he attacked a family member with a knife.

It happened just after midnight Friday morning at an apartment off Martin Luther King Boulevard.

According to reports, 52-year-old Marvin Folley is charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly threatened 48-year-old Avis Boynton and sliced her hand with a utility knife during an argument.

Police documents indicate the two are related but their relation is not clear.
