COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – News Leader 9 has learned new details in the case of Columbus 'Stocking Strangler' Carlton Gary.

District Attorney Julia Slater and attorneys Jack Martin and Michael McIntyre have reached an agreement over DNA testing.

An order has also been filed limiting DNA testing to only that evidence collected from Jean Diemenstein, Martha Thurmond, and Kathleen Woodruff's murders.

The agreement, proposed by the district attorney, was signed by Carlton Gary and his attorneys.

In addition, an order was filed to delay February's DNA hearing until the results from DNA testing are returned.
