Flaming bottles thrown at Columbus house

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Police also investigating an attempted arson at a home in the East Highland section of Columbus.

It happened at a house on Noble Street Sunday around 4 PM.

Police say rocks and flaming "Molotov cocktails" were thrown at the windows.

The resident, 37-year-old Stacy Hegler, declined an interview Monday. She was not injured in the incident and tells WTVM she has been the target of vandals before.

The Columbus Police Department is investigating the act of vandalism as Criminal Attempt Arson 2nd Degree.
