COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The search for the new Director of Crime Prevention in Columbus has been narrowed down to two applicants- both of whom city officials say are local folks.
The finalists' identities aren't being revealed until Tuesday night's city council meeting when their resumes will be made public.
According to Mayor Jim Wetherington's staff, their resumes will be made public for a period of two weeks.
Then on March 9th, the mayor will make his recommendation on who should head the new city office.
WTVM will be there at Tuesday night's meeting and will reveal who made the cut for the new high-ranking position.
