MCSD 2nd annual TechnoExpo

Press Release:

COLUMBUS, GA –Students are gearing up to showcase their innovative educational skills at the 2nd Annual Muscogee County School District 2010 TechnoExpo, Thursday, April 29, at the Columbus Civic Center.  The TechnoExpo is a spectacular event hosted by the Division of Information (Technology) Services, which provides students at schools across the district with an opportunity to share with the community the technology-enriched instruction and learning that is possible, in part, due to the 2003 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) initiative.

Students, parents, teachers, and the community are invited to attend.  Join the fun and see first-hand the student-created technology projects.  All schools will have a booth displaying student projects created during the 2009-2010 school year.  Attendees will also enjoy student-provided entertainment, have an opportunity to visit vendor booths, and win door prizes.  Doors open to the public at 4:00 p.m.

Professional Learning opportunities will also be available at this year's TechnoExpo! Breakout Sessions will begin in the morning, and continue throughout the afternoon. Presentations by Tony Vincent, the Educational Technology Center (ETC), vendors, and MCSD staff and students will be scheduled.
