COLUMBUS, GA - Davis Broadcasting Incorporated gears up for The 8th Annual Women's Empowerment Luncheon on Friday, March 12th at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center.
This year's theme is "Save Our Youth" in an effort to highlight groups across the Chattahoochee Valley with guest speakers including Chasity Hardman, who was crowned Ms. Georgia 2008/ 1st Runner Up to Ms. America 2009 .
Plus, delivering the keynote message is Columbus native, The Honorable Harriette Debro Watkins, who currently serves as the Senior Advisor of Community Relations to Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. Also, New York Times Best Selling Author and nationally syndicated radio host which airs locally on (WKZJ) K- 92.7 Michael Baisden will make a guest appearance.
The DBI Women's Empowerment Luncheon was launched during March in honor of the Women's History Month to inspire and encourage women.
The event has previously attracted A-List speakers including Tina Knowles, Donna Richardson – Joyner and Patricia Russell McCloud just to name a few of the accomplished female leaders and entrepreneurs who have offered words of empowerment.
The event will be held on Friday, March 12th from 11:30am – 1:30pm at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center located at 801 Front Avenue in the beautiful downtown area. Doors will open at 10:00am for vendor shopping.
