COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) –  Schools are celebrating Read Across America Day. It's celebrated annually on Dr. Seuss's birthday on March 2.

The National Education Association (NEA) aims to generate enthusiasm for reading by celebrating one of the most beloved children's book authors of all time.
