Man stabbed at Macon Rd. gas station

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) –  A Columbus man is recovering after police say he was stabbed at a Macon Road gas station.

It happened Tuesday morning around 2:30 at 3021 Macon Road.

The victim, told officers he was in the area of the gas pumps when a black man in his 30s wearing a red shirt, jeans and red shoes stabbed him in the stomach.

The victim drove himself to Saint Francis Hospital for treatment.
