COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Columbus officials want your feedback on an integrated garbage fee.

Thursday night officials held a public meeting where city leaders proposed a fee of $4.00 a month to cover costs for bi-weekly pickups. The meeting was one of three that will be held.

City manager, Isaiah Hugley, says five years from now the city will be about $40,000,000 in debt if the city does not do something.

If you missed Thursday night's meeting, you can go to the next two scheduled meetings:

March 9th, 6:00 p.m. in the Baker Middle School Cafeteria
March 15th, 6:00 p.m. at Columbus Library in the CB&T Room
