COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The man accused of paying underage girls for sex acts was in court Monday.

John Przenkop has requested his own lawyer and his hearing will be moved to Tuesday.

He was arrested Friday in Columbus in connection with an internet sex sting.

Przenkop faces eight charges, two counts of aggravated child molestation, two counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, two counts of pandering which involves sex for money and two counts of child pornography.

Police say Przenkop used an online social website to find two teenage girls.

According to officers, he took the teens to his home and paid them so he could perform sex acts on them.
