COLUMBUS, GA - The 13th Annual Thunder in the Valley Air Show will be Saturday, March 20 and Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Columbus Airport.  Gates will open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. 

The Thunder in the Valley Air Show is a fun, family event and all proceeds are given to youth organizations in the Chattahoochee Valley. The Thunder in the Valley Air Show is a not-for-profit organization that began 13 years ago as a local fly in for aviation enthusiasts. 

It has grown to become one of the largest outdoor family events in the Chattahoochee Valley area.  The air show brings in top performers from across the United States.


National attention has been given to the Thunder in the Valley Air Show by the International Convention of Air Shows for excellence in marketing.

The 2010 Thunder in the Valley Air Show will offer exciting aerial performances, airplane and helicopter rides, military ground displays, a children's carnival, and great food.

It is an alcohol-free and tobacco-free event. Scheduled to appear are: Team Choas Extreme Airshows (Lead Act), Flash Fire Jet Truck, Bearfeat Aerobatics, Gary Ward Airshows, DAV B-25, Vintage Aviation and Silver Wings Parachute Team.

General Admission:
$8 in advance
$10 at the gate
$6 for Military
Children 6 years and under – FREE!

Parking:
$10 at Airport
$5 at Walmart
Free parking with shuttle service from old Sears parking lot on the corner of Macon and Rigdon Road.  Access lot from Ridgon Road.

Gate opens: 10:00 a.m.
Pre-show: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Show: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Those inside the car fled from the scene.  Investigators are now searching for those suspects.  This is a developing story.
