Teens who went on burglary spree sentenced

COLUMBUS, GA  (WTVM) – Eighteen-year-old Samuel Fells was sentenced Monday morning to 15 years with 10 years to serve for two counts of armed robbery and one count of criminal attempt armed robbery.

Police say Fells and his accomplices are responsible for armed robberies--including one that occurred at the Waffle House off Flat Rock Road.

Fells' accomplice, 17-year-old Justin Curry,  pled guilty to two counts of armed robbery and one count of criminal attempt armed robbery. He also had a criminal trespass charge as well. Curry  was sentenced to 15 years with 10 to serve.

The teens were also linked several residential and business burglaries around Columbus.

The 15-year-old girl is facing charges in connection with crimes at the Circle K on Miller Road and the Waffle House on Flat Rock Road. We're told she will have her day in court sometime this week.
