Columbus men attacked by mob

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Columbus Police are investigating a robbery after several men reported being attacked by a large group of people on a city street.

The incident happened Tuesday around 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of 34th Avenue and Decatur Street off Illges Road.

The four men say while they were walking, a group of 25 to 30 men jumped them.

Only one of the victims was robbed.

We're told the victims sustained minor injuries such as scratches and bruises.
