Here's a look at what News Leader 9 is working on for our evening shows:

- CARLTON GARY: EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: It's a two-part report you won't want to miss, Carlton Gary speaks out from death row, talking exclusively to News Leader Nine's Andrew Wittenberg about his case.  Gary responds to those questions that so many people in the Columbus community have wanted answers to since news of the Stocking Strangler broke.  Hear Carlton Gary, in his own words, only on News Leader 9 at 6:00 & 11:00pm.

- BARBEE JOINS TIGER FAITHFUL:  Officials within Auburn University's athletics department are expected to announce the next men's basketball head coach, tonight at 6:00pm EST. Tony Barbee, most recently the coach at UTEP, has been tapped for the position. News Leader Nine will be live from the press conference, tonight during out 6:00pm EST news.

- HALLOWEEN RAPE CASE SOLVED: After roughly a year-and-a-half, an unsolved rape case has been closed by the Lee County Sheriff's Department. A Ft. Benning soldier now faces charges for the sexual assault of a 19 year old girl. News Leader Nine's Elizabeth White has the details, including an answer to the question "what took so long?", tonight at 5:00pm EST.

- GEORGIA METH PROJECT: A new group has formed in Georgia to raise awareness about the dangers of methamphetamine. The Georgia Meth Project is airing ads on television, radio and even billboards. We'll have more on their message, tonight during the news at 5:00pm EST.
