AMERICUS, GA (WTVM) - Four year investigation has ended with a big drug bust in Americus. As a result thousands of dollars  worth of drugs and weapons are off the streets.

39-year-old Susan White was stopped for a traffic violation Thursday afternoon and arrested for possession of methamphetamine.  A few hours later, officials were lead to a Lowe's parking lot where they arrested 51-year-old David Lee and 47-year-old Carl Blaine.  Police say the two men had 10,000 dollars worth of cash, and an ounce of Crystal Meth.

After arresting Lee, investigators got a search warrant for his home in Dooly County. There they found a cache of weapons including, seven semi-automatic shotguns, five rifles, two pistols and a revolver.  Officials also recovered about 1300 hundred rounds of ammunition and other drugs.  Investigators say they don't believe Lee made the Meth himself.

White is charged for possession of Meth, Blaine is charged for the intent to distribute and Lee is charged for sale of Meth and for use of a communications facility.
