Store clerk locked in freezer during robbery

LEE COUNTY, AL (WTVM) – An east Alabama store had a frightening run in with a robber Monday morning.

The clerk says she was working at the Circle K store on FOB James Drive in Valley around 3:00 a.m. when a man told her to remove the money from the cash register.

The robber then locked her in the store's freeze.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 5'8 to 5'10, and heavy-set.   
The victim says, he wore a blue hooded sweat shirt and light faded blue jeans.
