COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A man is behind bars today after stabbing his cousin during an argument.
Columbus Police were called to a crowded area where several black men were standing in a group and one of them ran up to the officer claiming he had been stabbed. Police saw a stab wound to the man's left arm.
The victim stated his cousin, Donohue McNeal III, was the person who stabbed him. Witnesses say McNeal and the victim were in a verbal argument and then McNeal went inside a home and brought out a kitchen knife with a three inch blade.
The victim was treated by EMS and is in stable condition. Donohue McNeal III was taken to the Muscogee County Jail and is facing aggravated assault charges.
