LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) -  Two LaGrange teens are in trouble with the law, after police say they were caught burglarizing a house.

Around 12:30 Saturday afternoon, LaGrange patrol officers got a call to a home on Northwoods Drive in reference to a burglary that had just occurred.

A K-9 unit was also called out and officers found several stolen items in the wood line behind the residence and caught 18-year-old Zandale Warrior and a 14-year-old juvenile nearby.

Detectives say they were able to link both teens to the burglary and they were charged with one count of Burglary and Criminal Possession of an Article with an Altered Identification Mark after a handgun was allegedly located with an altered serial number.

Warrior was also charged with a count of Obstruction after he tried to run away from an officer and was later apprehended by a canine officer.
