COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM)- Well Spring Break is here and high school students are preparing for prom. Concerned educators and local law enforcement officials around Muscogee County are urging teens to be responisible and put their safety first by saying no to alcohol.
The Muscogee County School District, Columbus Police, Columbus Marshalls, and the Muscogee County Sheriff's Department are pushing Underage teen drinking awareness. On, Tuesday, April 13th they're hosting an underage drinking prevention town hall meeting. It begins at 6 p.m. at the Columbus Public Safety building. Students and their families are encouraged to attend.
