Police say man riding stolen motorcycle crashes into car

PHENIX CITY, AL (WXTX)--Phenix City Police are investigating a motorcycle crash on 4th Avenue near 22nd Street.

Reports of a heavy police presence in that area came in to the WTVM newsroom around 7 PM.

Assistant Police Chief Bobby Casteel tells Fox 54 a man in his late 20s was riding a stolen motorcycle and crashed.

Casteel says the man's injuries are serious and he has been taken to the hospital.
