Crime Stoppers: Unauthorized credit card charges

COLUMBUS, GA - On January 20, 2010, a woman reported to police that someone was making charges on two (2) of her credit cards.

The transactions were made at several different businesses located in the St. Mary's Road, Buena Vista Road and Floyd Road areas.

The victim told police she lost or misplaced her wallet when she was leaving Rainbow Foods, located on Buena Vista Road on January 8, 2010.

She said she did not realize the wallet was missing until the next day and called to cancel the cards.

She then discovered that someone had made several unauthorized transactions on her Visa and Mastercard accounts.

Police were able to obtain surveillance videos from the businesses that show two young black males using the cards at those locations.
