SHILOH, GA (WTVM) - Carla Hubbard was on her way back from vacation when she got the call that deputies were in her yard.  "I think a lot of times we are blind about what is going on around you, maybe you do not know your neighbors like you should," said the Shiloh resident.

The story she heard was like something out of the movies. Her neighbors were hydro-growing nearly nine million dollars worth of marijuana.

The Harris County Sheriff, GBI, and Atlanta DEA were busted up one of the biggest drug operations ever in the county.

Despite the surprising details, the Sheriff wants Hubbard and other residents to feel secure.  Sheriff Mike Jolley said, "These people really had no criminal intent to do any aggravated crime in this area.  They were here for the money, here to make a profit and get out."

26-year-old Michael Camareno and 37-year-old Alfredo Barragan came to the Shiloh property just to check in on their crop - nearly 2,000 marijuana plants.

Sheriff Jolley says they are just a small part of a large drug manufacturing operation and none of the drugs seized would have been sold locally.  "All was destined for Atlanta or larger cities, Birmingham, Montgomery, Orlando," said Jolley.

This is not their first run in with the law.  Both have previous drug charges in California.  Deputies are keeping a close eye on Camareno.  Sheriff Jolley said, "In 2007 he was arrested for possession with intent to sell marijuana, obstruction and escape, so we are going to take steps to watch out for him."

Law Enforcement officials are not able to release how they found the operation because they investigation is ongoing.
