COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The 16-year-old suspect linked to the Hollywood Connection stabbing last month, appeared before Judge Cohn Thursday morning.

The juvenile admitted to the aggravated assault and the judge ruled that the young man would spend 12 to 18 months in a youth detention facility.

The victim, who is also 16 years old, suffered from a four-inch stab wound under his left arm after a group fight.

The juvenile suspect -- whose name is being withheld because of his age -- is from Las Vegas, Nevada but will serve his time in the state of Georgia.
