LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) - When LaGrange City Manager, Thomas Hall, heard of new developments coming to LaGrange he knew he had to build accommodations.
But what he didn't expect was an economy to continually fall, leaving him with major projects incomplete.
They call the project the Big Four.
It's a series of developments on the east side of LaGrange.
The Project has over 12 hundred acres of land holding commercial properties and ten thousand housing units, but this time last year it was completely stalled, " Late last year we went for about three months without issuing a single building permit", said Hall.
He says he looks forward to the day he looks at the community and sees all the hard work his team has put into it."We've got a lot of engines for growth in the area so if things continue to pick up this year I hope we turn a corner by 2011 and see the rapid growth and investment we've put in the community."
