StarKist Co. recalls frozen fish fillet

ATLANTA - Agriculture Commissioner Tommy Irvin is alerting Georgians to the recall of some SeaSations® frozen fish fillet products due to the presence of wheat not listed on the label.

StarKist Co. of Pittsburgh is recalling two SeaSations® frozen white whole fish fillet products because the products contain the allergen wheat, which is not listed on the label.

The following products are subject to recall:

11.4-ounce Thai with Basil, UPC # 80000 50007
11.4-ounce Teriyaki Orange and Ginger, UPC # 80000 50112.

Both products are being recalled regardless of best by date or manufacturing code. No other StarKist products are included in this recall.

People who are allergic to wheat run a risk of serious adverse health consequences by consuming this product.
