Peachtree BioResearch Solutions receives WBENC certification

Press Release

Atlanta, GA -4/20/2010 - Peachtree BioResearch Solutions, Inc., a business specializing in contract clinical research services, received national certification as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Greater Women's Business Council, a regional certifying partner of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

WBENC's national standard of certification implemented by the Greater Women's Business Council is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

"We are approaching 18 months of operation, and in that time we have been able to grow our business from a single client to over 10. Given the economic conditions we started in, we are pleased with our growth," stated Kristy Nichols, President and CEO. "We have concentrated on the growing number of emerging companies in the southeast by offering flexible and scalable services that are cost-effective for start-ups."

By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations, and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.
