Daytime Emmy's returning to CBS

The Daytime Emmy Awards are returning to an old network home but in a new city. CBS announced Friday that it will broadcast the ceremony from Las Vegas this summer. The show had been held in New York for more than three decades and then moved to Los Angeles in 2006.

The CW network aired the awards last year. The Daytime Emmys, which honor a variety of programs ranging from soap operas to talk shows to game shows, will air June 27 from the Las Vegas Hilton. Nominations will be announced May 12.
