Muscogee Co. proposes reducing school days

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Monday night, the Muscogee County School Board proposed a plan that would help save money.

The board presented two plans that would cut ten school days for next school year.

The public will have an opportunity to voice their concerns about the proposed calendar change.

The dates for the proposed forums will be announced later this week.

In addition, the school district is considering cuts in the following areas to meet the state's budget reduction of $18 million.
