Change of venue denied in Lockhart case

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - The man accused of killing an Auburn University co-ed won't get his trial moved to another city. 

A court administrator tells Newsleader 9 Judge Jacob Walker has denied Courtney Lockhart's attorneys request for a change of venue.

The trial date itself has been pushed back several times. Lockhart is charged with the 2008 murder of Auburn University freshman Lauren Burk.
