Sketch released of man wanted for attempted sexual assault near AU

AUBURN, AL -  On Thursday, April 29, 2010 at approximately 2:05 a.m. the Auburn Police Division responded to a residence in the 400 block of West Magnolia Avenue in reference to a report of an attempted sexual assault. 

According to the 19-year-old female victim an unknown person entered her apartment, apparently through an unlocked door, and attempted to assault her. 

No weapon was used and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 35 years of age, 5'06" tall, and weighing 150 pounds.  He was wearing a gray T-shirt and blue jeans.  His hair was dark and spiked with gel. Click here to view a sketch of the attempted sexual assault suspect.

The suspect fled the area on foot and was last seen near the intersection of West Magnolia Avenue and South Donahue Drive.
