Update: Auburn boy's condition improves

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) –  An Auburn boy who was injured at his family's home last week while playing baseball is doing much better.

Hospital officials tell News Leader 9 Ross Folmar has been upgraded to serious condition.

The Dean Elementary student was airlifted to the children's hospital in Birmingham last week in a critical condition.

    The father of two told police in court papers released Monday that he killed his pregnant wife after witnessing her strangling one of the girls on a baby monitor.
