Columbus Water Works to host open house Saturday

COLUMBUS, GA - The Columbus Water Works in inviting the public to learn to keep our water clean, and safe.

The event is being held in conjunction with National Drinking Water Week.  Join Columbus Water Works this Saturday, May8th from 10:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m.

There will be educational displays, refreshments and fun for the children. The event will take place at the North Columbus Water Resources Facility at 5301 River Road

    16-year-old Raven Little-White died in August, after a boating accident on Lake Waccamaw. The medical examiner’s report lists “drowning” as the probable cause of death, but a toxicology report that came back later revealed Raven had actually succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning.
