Man shot during Columbus home invasion

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Columbus Police are investigating a weekend home invasion.

It happened at a house on Bunker Hill Road, off Saint Mary's Road Saturday morning around 2 AM.

Police say two unknown black men burst through the front door, robbed 16-year-old Hikeem Foster at gunpoint of $100 and shot 23-year-old Jeremy Jackson in the wrist.

A 34-year-old woman was also in the house at the time but was not injured.

According to reports, the duo tried to steal a flat screen television but failed and ran away.

The victims describe the suspects as: a black man, 5'8" with a chubby build wearing black clothing and a black man, 5'10" with a muscular build wearing black pants and a white shirt.
