OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) - Governor Bob Riley came to Opelika Tuesday night for the annual Republican Banquet.

Governor Riley says the Gubernatorial race is any man's game at this point, citing Bradley Byrne and Tim James are in the lead but the others are not far behind.

Governor riley says one his main priorities has been to enforce the law at all times.

He says he was very pleased with the results of the bingo feuds and the way the supreme court handled it, " I don't think there's any question. I think the Supreme Court told us very specifically that if local law enforcement will not enforce the law then it's the governors duty and his responsibility because he's the one who takes the oath to uphold all the laws of Alabama."

Governor Riley, said he will not be endorsing any candidate. He said he has never thought it made much of a difference and "people in the Alabama are very perceptive. They'll usually pick out the one they think is best."
