COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  A local man will spend two decades behind bars in connection with a child pornography bust.

Richard Van Wagner Jr. has been sentenced to 20 years in prison on the federal charge of Receipt of Child Pornography.

In his 2009 indictment, it says Wagner possessed a HP Pavilion laptop computer, a HP Media Center desktop computer, a digital external hard drive and diskettes which contained one or more visual depictions involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

Wagner pled guilty to the charge in January of 2010 and was sentenced Thursday in Columbus.

In his plea agreement, it describes how a United States Postal Inspector in Cleveland, Ohio, acting in an undercover capacity, set up a group on search engine "Yahoo!" in December of 2007 called "daddys_lambs" and described the group as "movies for lovers of little school children."

In April of 2008, Wagner requested to join the group and commented "I like them very young…".

The next day, he requested to buy two movies specifically described in an email as depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit activity and asked that they be sent to an address on Fort Benning.

After the videos were shipped, Postal Inspectors got a search warrant and seized computers and other media from Wagner's home. At the time, he admitted to ordering the films.

An analysis of his computers and media equipment led authorities to find 600 or more images depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Wagner was also charged with the Possession and Distribution of Child Pornography along with another charge of the Receipt of Child Pornography but those charges were dismissed as part of his plea agreement.
