ATLANTA – The Clark Atlanta University (CAU) men's basketball program will offer its second annual basketball camp in two sessions beginning June 7 at Vivian W. Henderson Gymnasium.
Open to both males and females age 6-17, the camp aims to teach youth the fundamentals of basketball through a series of offensive and defensive, shooting and free throw drills.
The camp runs from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with lunch provided each day. The first session runs June 7-11 and the second session June 14-18.
"The camp is a great opportunity for youth to learn and improve fundamental skills, such as passing, dribbling and shooting," said Head Coach Darryl Jacobs. "At the end of each session, we want the participants to not only be more proficient but also more confident in their skills."
The cost is $75 per participant for one session or $150 per participant for both sessions. The registration deadline for both sessions is June 7.
