Three meth arrests in two days

HARRIS COUNTY, GA (WTVM) - News Leader Nine has been covering the rise of meth use in our area.

There is more proof after two meth busts in two days in Harris County, GA.

On Thursday afternoon, Harris County investigators obtained a search warrant for a home in west Harris County.  Inside they found the ingredients for meth, but no one home.

After a few hours Investigators found David Johnson and his girlfriend, Tracy Washington, pumping gas on Highway 219.  Both were arrested and charged with manufacturing meth and misdemeanor marijuana.

Wednesday, the area's Metro Narcotics Unit obtained a search warrant for a home in Cataula, GA.

They found Christopher Anthony in his Grantham Drive home and arrested him for trafficking meth.

News Leader Nine learned that this is not the first meth arrest for Anthony or Johnson.
