COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  A Columbus couple is facing several drug charges after a bust at their home.

Captain Gil Slouchick, who heads up the Columbus Police Department's VICE Squad, says police have been searching for 25-year-old Christopher Mooney on a warrant for possession of a sawed off shotgun.

Slouchick says his squad received enough probable cause to issue a search warrant of Mooney's apartment where he lives with his girlfriend on 42nd Street off River Road.

Inside, police found marijuana, methamphetamine and prescription pills.

Mooney and his girlfriend, 21-year-old Krystle Bass, are both charged with violation of Georgia Controlled Substance Act for possession of  methamphetamine, loratab and xanax, as well as the possession of marijuana.
