Two men behind bars after shootout

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Around 7 o'clock Thursday evening police responded to shots fired at 3607 Wade Street at "The Hole". They found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the right leg and she was able to tell police who shot her.

Officers then started questioning other witnesses and looking for a man known as "N.O.", 20 year old Ronald Bush.

Police reports show Bush and another man, 22 year old Delmorris Boyd, were involved in a shooting with each other. Boyd fired eight or nine shots, hitting one woman in the leg.  Both men were arrested on the scene in reference to the shooting.

Boyd is being charged with aggravated assault, obstruction of a police officer, and felony possession of a firearm. Bush is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Both Bush and Boyd are being held in the Muscogee County Jail.
