Wednesday night fight leaves man with 6 dreadlocks pulled out

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus man is facing charges of terroristic threats, battery, and criminal trespassing after allegedly pulling out his stepson's hair.

Witnesses tell police 40 year-old Sanford Hollis came to a home at 901 Joy Road where he went to visit his wife, whom he does not live with. The couple got in a fight and the wife's son allegedly jumped in the middle to stop the fight.

Reports state that Hollis picked up a brick and threatened to kill his stepson. During the fight Hollis allegedly pulled out six of his stepson's dreadlocks.

Hollis will appear in Columbus Recorder's Court at 2PM.
