Four arrested after police discover drugs in east Alabama home

Press Release  

LEE COUNTY, AL -  At approximately 11:00 am/cdst on Thursday July 1, agents with the Gulf Coast Regional Task Force including Lee County Sheriff's Deputies, Montgomery Police, State of Alabama Agriculture Enforcement officers and the United States Marshal's Service served warrants on James Ryan Arwood (28) at his residence located at 10962 Lee Road 279 in northeast Lee County.

During the course of the serving the warrant, an active methamphetamine lab was discovered within the residence.

Numerous components were also seized including precursor substances and manufacturing paraphernalia. Arwood was charged with Unlawful Manufacturing of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in addition to outstanding warrants for Failing to Appear on Possession of Controlled Substance and Failing to Appear on a traffic related charge. 

Also arrested at Arwood's residence were the following :

1)  Johnny Darryl Coulter  (45)        1236 Lee Rd 380  Valley
2)  Jeffrey McKeehan   (38)               1231 County Rd 189  Valley
3)  Kelli Leann Hart     (26)                 1231 County Rd 189  Valley

Coulter, McKeehan and Hart are charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance ($30,000 bond) and possession of drug paraphernalia ($1,000 bond).

A four suspects remain in the Lee County Detention Center.
