Missing Columbus mother found in Florida

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Muscogee County Sheriff's officials confirm a missing Columbus woman has been located, alive and well.

Fifty-one-year-old Corrine McGinn-Goyette has been located in Lake City, FL. She is safe and is staying with family members in Lee County, FL.

According to authorities, McGinn was last seen leaving the Country Inn suites off Williams Road where she worked as a housekeeper . On June 16th, they say she turned in her uniform and said she was going to Florida but no one had seen or heard from her.

Officials in Lake City, FL were able to locate her with the help of family members after a nation-wide alert was issued and she has been reunited with relatives.
